The Transportation Agency's Board of Directors authorized the release of a Requests for Qualifications for the On-Call Consultant(s) for Graphic Design of Public Outreach Material/Marketing Documents on March 28, 2018. Staff published the Requests for Qualifications on the Agency's website and emailed a notice to graphic design firms in the Agency's consultant database. A public notice was published in the Monterey County Herald the week of April 10, 2018.
The Transportation Agency received 15 responsive Statements of Qualifications by the required deadline. Three of the top candidates were interviewed by the review committee. After ranking the overall scores of the three candidates, AMF Media Group was selected as the top ranked candidate for the On-Call Graphic Designer.

The importance of this responsibility was emphasized by the Agency's Board of Director's strategic goals adopted in 2017. That plan includes the enhancement of public communications and graphically designed materials will be essential in this effort.
