| | | | | | | | | SUMMARY: | Ariana Green, Associate Transportation Planner and Stefania Castillo, Transportation Planner have been selected by the employees of the Transportation Agency for Monterey County as the Employees of the Quarter for April – June 2019. |

| | | | | | | | | DISCUSSION: | The Agency employees recognize Ariana for having a great attitude, for her professionalism, and hard work. Most notably they appreciate her tireless work developing the Safe Routes to Schools plan in the Cities of Marina and Seaside, for securing a grant for safe routes to schools in Salinas, for participating in the Blue Zones schools task force, and for working on the My Town transportation exhibition. Stefania was recognized for her positive attitude, tactful citizen engagement and thorough research in developing the Measure X Senior/Disabled Transportation Program assessment. She has overseen the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee meetings, provided bike safety education at public events, conducted bilingual outreach at Safe Routes to School pop-ups in Marina and Seaside, and serves the assistant Project Manager for the Fort Ord Regional Trail and Greenway project.
