| |
| | | | | | | | SUMMARY: | Roundabout intersections are becoming more prevalent across the United States. While roundabouts are not new, they are new to Monterey County. Roundabouts can be an effective way to improve traffic flow and reduce injury crashes, but their unique shape can seem imposing to new users. This presentation focuses on bicycle and pedestrian access at roundabouts. The discussion will include examples of safe design practices to advance the understanding of committee members and the public. |
