RECOMMENDED ACTION:
RECEIVE report on bicycle and pedestrian collisions from Officer Jessica Madueño, Public Information Officer for the California Highway Patrol.
SUMMARY:

Committee members have expressed interest in speaking with members of law enforcement about bicyclists and pedestrian safety. 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:
No financial impact. 
DISCUSSION:

Officer Jessica Madueño, Public Information Officer, will present on the bicycle and pedestrian collisions during the past few months and speak to how the California Highway Patrol supports the safety of bicyclists and pedestrians.

 

The Web Attachment provides a link to the CHP website with entertaining educational videos on how to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety.
