COVID-19 Transition


RECOMMENDED ACTION:
RECEIVE update on COVID-19 Transition and PROVIDE INPUT on preferences for in-person meeting locations and protective measures. 
SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting the Committee's input on the safety precautions members would like to have for when meetings return to in-person under the Brown Act. 
FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Some meeting locations may incur a cost for rental and/or for videoconference technology.

DISCUSSION:

During the Committee meeting, staff will provide a verbal update on the status of the Brown Act exemptions and requirements for the Bicycle & Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee's remaining meetings for 2021: October 6 and November 3. 

 

Additionally, staff will request the Committee's input regarding meeting location preferences and desired safety precautions for the transition to in-person meeting environments.
