| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL IMPACT: | The cost of the bike docks, racks and bicycle repair stations is estimated at $5,500 for twelve (12) bike docks, $11,000 for six (6) repair stations total and $2,400 total for the six (6) bicycle racks requested. The recommended action would allocate $18,900 of the $30,000 funding available this fiscal year. |

| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION: | TAMC received three applications for the Bicycle Secure Grant Application program in May 2022. The applicants were the City of Greenfield Recreational Department, requesting twelve (12) bike docks and one (1) bicycle repair station; the City of Seaside, requesting five (5) bicycle repair stations; and the Greenfield Community Science Workshop, requesting six (6) bicycle racks. These racks and repair stations will serve members of the public as all of the applicants are public agencies or public agency programs. The repair stations in the City of Seaside will be placed at the Oldemeyer Center, The Seaside Community Center & Soper Field, the Seaside Youth and Education Center as well as Pattullo Swim Center. |
