RECEIVE update on the planned increase in passenger rail service along the coast corridor between San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Progress since the last update on the coast rail project to this Committee on February 5, 2018 includes Technical Advisory Committee meetings.

The Coast Rail service project costs are still under evaluation.

The CRCC Technical Committee met via phone call on February 15 and on March 23. The discussion topics included the Memorandum of Understanding (TAMC approved on February 28). The updated schedule of meetings is attached.

The next Policy Committee is scheduled to be in San Luis Obispo on April 16. There is also a Rail Summit in Los Angeles on April 18-19. Staff will give a verbal update at the meeting.
