The objective of the 2017 Transportation Agency Annual Report is to increase awareness of the Transportation Agency’s presence in Monterey County and build upon the Agency’s reputation of trust and fiscal responsibility.
The primary focus of this year's report will be the Transportation Agency's accomplishments in 2017. The emphasis will be Measure X projects and programs and a look ahead at future projects.
The annual report will also demonstrate the opportunity to leverage Measure X funds with new grants and programs provided by Senate Bill 1, commonly referred to as the ''gas tax." The significance of this new funding source will show its importance to agency projects, along with its importance to each local jurisdiction for their own road maintenance and safety projects.
